Dylon Fabric Dye in the Washing Machine at 40° Cotton Linen Viscose all colors

Permanent washing machine dye for natural fabrics. Ideal for cotton, linen, viscose. Mixed fabrics like polyester/cotton and polyester/viscose will dye in lighter shades. Not suitable for wool and nylon. Dylon Washing Machine Pod dyes 600 grams of dry fabric (e.g., a pair of jeans, a bath towel, a large sheet) in an intense shade, up to 1.8 kg in a lighter shade. Fabric mixing rules apply (blue dye on red fabric produces purple), prints on fabrics will remain visible.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Weigh the dry fabric and wash it even if the item is new, then place the wet, wrung-out items into the drum. Remove the protective film and seal from the pod and place it on top of the items to be dyed. Run a wash cycle at 30° or 40°, excluding pre-wash and spin. Do not use partial load or energy/water saving programs. Once the cycle is complete, add detergent and run a 40° cotton cycle with detergent. Dry the fabric away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

IMPORTANT

Do not add salt (it is already included in the package).

Do not dye an amount of fabric exceeding half of the washing machine drum's maximum load to avoid patchy results.

Polyester stitching will not dye.

Any bleach or chemical lightened areas may not take the color correctly.

If necessary, after dyeing, run an empty wash cycle with delicate bleach to clean the machine thoroughly.
